In-N-Out opening 4 new restaurants in Southern California

Irvine-based In-N-Out Burger is close to opening four new restaurants in Southern California.

The fast-food chain has listed locations in Anaheim, Carson, Sylmar and Oxnard as "Opening Soon" on its website, although no specific dates have been announced.

In-N-Out typically adds locations to its locations map eight or nine months before opening, according to The Orange County Register.

The restaurant at 540 N. Euclid Street in Anaheim will replace the former Marie Callender’s, which closed in 2019 after the chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Plans for the Anaheim location include a 3,879-square-foot restaurant with a 698-square-foot covered patio and a drive-thru lane that can accommodate 31 vehicles.

The city’s Planning and Building Department approved the project in July 2023.

This will be In-N-Out’s third location in Anaheim. The others can be found at 1168 State College Blvd. and 600 S. Brookhurst St.

The other Southern California In-N-Out restaurants listed as “Opening Soon” are located at 20512 Avalon Boulevard in nearby Carson, 13864 Foothill Blvd. in Sylmar and 1700 East Ventura Blvd. in Oxnard.

Founded in 1948 in Baldwin Park, In-N-Out has grown to more than 400 locations nationwide, with 286 in California alone. Last year, the chain announced it planned to open multiple locations in Tennessee in 2026 and New Mexico by 2027.
