Want to see the Dodgers in the World Series? It'll cost you a pretty penny

The Boys in Blue are back in the World Series, and the matchup with the New York Yankees is sure to draw a great deal of attention.

If you want to catch a game in person, however, it will also cost you a great deal of cash.

Games 1 and 2 (and 6 and 7, if necessary) will be at Dodger Stadium, and SeatGeek shows the cheapest get-in price is more than $1,200.

In fact, tickets for all games are over $1,000. The cheapest is Game 5 at Yankee Stadium on Oct. 30, which will run you $1,125.

The ticket prices for each game are below:

  • Game 1, Oct. 25, Dodger Stadium: $1,268
  • Game 2, Oct. 26, Dodger Stadium: $1,236
  • Game 3, Oct. 28, Yankee Stadium: $1,300
  • Game 4, Oct. 29, Yankee Stadium: $1,240
  • Game 5, Oct. 30, Yankee Stadium: $1,125
  • Game 6, Nov. 1, Dodger Stadium: $1,407
  • Game 7, Nov. 2, Dodger Stadium: $1,365

Of course, these prices will fluctuate as the series progresses.

Games 5, 6 and 7 will only be played if one team has not yet taken the necessary four games to win, so those prices could crater if one team is especially dominant through the first few games.

Alternatively, if the series gets to a 3-3 tie and it all comes down to Game 7 at Dodger Stadium, the price could skyrocket far above $1,365.

There are plenty of Dodger faithful who'd pay dearly for the chance to see the Boys in Blue win their first championship since the pandemic-shortened and sparsely attended 2020 season.

Before that, the Dodgers hadn't captured a World Series since 1988.
