Teen shot in Columbus Square: Police
A 17-year-old was the victim of a drive-by shooting over the weekend.

ST. LOUIS – A 17-year-old was the victim of a drive-by shooting over the weekend.
According to a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson, the shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday near 9th and Carr streets, in the city’s Columbus Square neighborhood.
The victim told police he was in the area when a black sedan drove past and a person in the vehicle began shooting. The 17-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his thigh.
Police said the victim was privately conveyed to a hospital.
The 17-year-old did not provide any additional information to investigators.
