St. Louis County polling places and wait times on election day
St. Louis County voters can expect longer wait times at polling places on November 5th due to a record-length ballot, with voters required to present current photo ID and register to vote through Election Day.
CLAYTON, Mo. -- St. Louis County voters can expect longer than usual wait times at polling places Tuesday as election officials predict heavy turnout for what they're calling a record-length ballot. Use this tool to find a polling place near you. It will be updated with wait times on election day.
Polls open at 6 a.m. on November 5th and will remain open until 7 p.m., with voters able to cast ballots at any polling location within St. Louis County. Anyone in line by 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
"The ballot is so long; it's a record," said Eric Fey, Democratic Director of Elections for St. Louis County. Early voting has already seen significant turnout, with long lines reported at polling places for weeks leading up to Election Day.
