(KRON) — A preliminary 2.9-magnitude earthquake struck in southeast Santa Clara County on Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 7.1 miles east of Morgan Hill.
The tremblor occurred at 10:12 a.m., USGS said. People reported feeling light shaking near Morgan Hill and Gilroy, according to USGS’s “Did You Feel It?” survey.
There were no initial reports of damages or injuries.
