Salem man accused of having child sex abuse images
State Police arrested a Salem man on Thursday for allegedly having child sex abuse images.
SALEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police arrested a Salem man on Thursday for allegedly having child sex abuse images. Joshua Woodell, 20, was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Woodell's arrest followed an investigation and execution of a search warrant at his home in Salem. The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The suspect was arraigned in Washington County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and released.
