Capital Region Card Show returns for the holidays
The Albany Capital Center will be ringing in the holidays with a festive edition of the Capital Region Card Show.
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Capital Center will be ringing in the holidays with a festive edition of the Capital Region Card Show. The event is scheduled for December 22.
The card show provides local hobbyists a chance to expand their collections with a plethora of collectibles offered by dozens of vendors. In addition to classic items like trading cards, comic books, and figurines, the December event will showcase a variety of holiday gifts and stocking stuffers.
The show will have an array of concessions, complimentary gift wrapping, and a special appearance by Santa Claus! The event is set to run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"We're thrilled to host this special event and provide our community with a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the growing sports card and trading card game hobbies coupled with the joy of the holiday season," said event co-organizer Josh Klein. "With Santa’s visit and complimentary gift wrapping, we aim to make holiday shopping a joyful and stress-free experience for everyone."
The Albany Capital Center is located at 55 Eagle Street. Admission costs $5 on the day of the show and is free for kids under 15.
Vendors can register for the event online. Free parking is available at the venue’s parking garage.
