Patriots practice: Starting offensive line remains a mystery after release
The Patriots got good news in practice Wednesday.
The Patriots had perfect attendance on their 53-man roster and practice squad for the second straight day of practice.
It seems that defensive tackle Christian Barmore has been able to increase his activity. Early in his return, he wasn’t able to practice in back-to-back days as he weaned off of blood thinners. He practiced in consecutive days Tuesday and Wednesday.
Offensive tackle Caedan Wallace (ankle) remains on injured reserve and has yet to return to practice. Offensive lineman Cole Strange (knee) remains limited as he practices while still on the PUP list.
New Patriots guard Lester Cotton was present. Cotton took starting left guard Michael Jordan’s spot on the roster.
It’s unclear who will start at left guard or right tackle this week. Rookie Layden Robinson is the favorite to take Jordan’s spot, while right tackle could be manned by Sidy Sow or Demontrey Jacobs. The Patriots only ran individual drills in front of the media Wednesday.
