BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- More than a quarter of workers at Viant Medical in Orchard Park will be without a job next year, the New York State Department of Labor announced Friday.
According to a WARN notice, 80 out of 322 employees will be laid off on March 10.
The 80,000 square-foot facility at 3902 Company Rd. creates medical devices such as surgical blades and phaco needles. With headquarters in Foxborough, Mass.., Viant has locations all over the world, including China, Mexico, and Europe.
Affected employees were not represented by a union.
