SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) said more than $15,000 was seized when they arrested two Oakland men suspected of being narcotics traffickers after a month-long investigation.
SFPD said Jisbar Arteaga, 36, and Jaime Josue Caredenas-Rosales, 35, would travel from Oakland to San Francisco daily as part of their operation.
Investigator said Arteaga was arrested Tuesday at the intersection of Sutter and Larkin Streets and was in possession of "suspected fentanyl, cocaine base, methamphetamine, cocaine salt, heroin, U.S. Currency related to narcotics sales and a digital scale."
San Francisco police said Caredenas-Rosales was arrested sometime later at the intersection of Pine Street and Van Ness Avenue. Officers searched his car to find "large amounts of suspected fentanyl, cocaine base, methamphetamine, cocaine salt, prescription pills, and U.S. Currency." An additional search at his home uncovered more drugs and cash, said investigators.
Both suspects were booked in San Francisco County Jail.
SFPD said this case remains an active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact 415-575-4444.
