Motorcyclist and Passenger Injured in Crash Involving BMW in Pacific Beach
A 39-year-old man who was driving a 2002 Harley Davidson Dyna and his 40-year-old female passenger were traveling westbound when a 70-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2013 BMW M3 traveling eastbound made a left turn and struck the motorcycle, the department reported.
A motorcyclist and passenger were injured Sunday after being struck by another vehicle in Pacific Beach, authorities said.
The accident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. Sunday at 2700 Garnet Ave., near the intersection of Mission Bay Drive, according to the San Diego Police Department.

“The BMW struck the passenger side rear quarter panel. The driver of the motor cycle sustained minor abrasion. The motor cycle passenger sustained an open fracture to her right tibia/fibula,” the department said.
Police said both occupants of the motorcycle were taken to a hospital, where they were treated for injuries.
