A woman from Michigan who was missing for over a week and was believed to have traveled to California has been located, local authorities say.
Lucy Silverman, 71, is a resident of Wyoming, Michigan – a city immediately southwest of Grand Rapids – and had last been seen at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 1, according to the Wyoming Police Department and reports from KTLA sister station WOOD.
Her last known location was in the area of Clyde Park Avenue SW and Blanchard Street SW in the city of Wyoming, police said.
Investigators believed she was heading to California, although the exact location in California where she could have been going was not disclosed, nor was her reason for traveling to the Golden State.
Silverman was found safely on Saturday, Wyoming police said, eight days after she first went missing.
Where Silverman was located was not released.
