A man was killed after a gunman opened fire at a house party in San Bernardino County Saturday.
The victim was identified as Tamariya Johnson, 23, of Victorville, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies responded to reports of shots fired at a home on Coalinga Road early Saturday morning around 12:47 a.m.
Authorities spoke with the partygoers and learned Johnson was shot and transported to the hospital by friends before deputies arrived at the home.
The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. The circumstances leading up to the deadly shooting remain unclear. The suspect remains at large, authorities said.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail also responded and assumed the investigation. The suspect has not been identified and remains at large.
