ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Jurors convicted a St. John man who shot and killed a coworker following an altercation at the distribution center where they both worked.

The shooting happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Penske Logistics, located in the 8500 block of Scudder Road.

St. Louis County police and prosecutors said Antonio Crutchfield, 34, shot Norman Green several times following an argument. Crutchfield had blocked Green from driving through the center’s parking lot gate after dinner and then opened fire.

Green survived long enough to identify Crutchfield as the shooter. Green was 27. Several eyewitnesses also testified to that fact.

Crutchfield, a prior felon, was prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Jurors convicted Crutchfield of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Crutchfield will be sentenced on Jan. 27, 2025. The first-degree murder charge carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole.
