Fire damages go-karts at rental company in Old Town
More than dozen go-karts were damaged at a rental company in Old Town Thursday night after a fire broke out, authorities said.
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- More than dozen go-karts were damaged at a rental company in Old Town Thursday night after a fire broke out, authorities said.
According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, a call came in around 9:20 p.m. reporting smoke and flames at a business in the 3900 block of Mason Street.
Responding firefighters discovered an exterior fire at a storage facility for GoCar Tours. The blaze was extinguished, leaving 15 to 20 go-karts with fire damage.
No injuries were reported in connection to this incident and no surrounding buildings were damaged or impacted in any way, fire officials confirmed.
An investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing.
