Two Police Officers, Two Others Injured in Collision Near Liberty Station
Four people were injured today in a two-vehicle collision, which included two San Diego police officers.

The accident occurred around 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Midway Drive and Barnett Avenue near Liberty Station in San Diego, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A SDPD vehicle was driving westbound on Barnett Avenue approaching Midway Drive, and stopped at an intersection before proceeding straight.
A 27-year-old female, driving a Honda Accord alongside a passenger, was proceeding southbound and drove into the intersection and collided with the SDPD vehicle.
The 27-year-old female suffered a femur fracture and the passenger suffered an orbital fracture. The officers sustained minor injuries.
The intersection at Midway and Barnett was temporarily closed for several hours due to a cleanup and inspection.
