Fire crews making 'good progress' on brush fire in Escondido

ESCONDIDO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Fire crews are responding to a brush fire reported in Escondido Friday afternoon.
The fire is burning in the 14000 block of San Pasqual Valley Road, according to Cal Fire. The agency tweeted as of 12:55 p.m., it was at 0.5 acres with a moderate rate of spread as well as the potential to grow to 10 acres.
As of 1:25 p.m., Cal Fire said firefighters have made good progress and some resources are being diverted to tackle the Garden Fire burning in Bonsall.
