Driver in deadly auto-ped cooperating with investigation, APD says
The driver of the vehicle involved in a crash that killed a pedestrian last Saturday is cooperating with the Austin Police Department in its investigation, according to authorities.
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The driver of the vehicle involved in a crash that killed a pedestrian last Saturday is cooperating with the Austin Police Department in its investigation, according to authorities.
The crash happened near the intersection of Interstate 35 Service Road and Teri Road at approximately 11:20 p.m. Saturday.
APD said that the driver was not injured in the crash, remained on scene, and is cooperating with the investigation.
The Oct. 26 crash is being investigated as Austin's 73rd fatal crash of the year, according to APD.
Authorities did not identify the pedestrian that was killed in the crash.
