DENVER (KDVR) — More sunshine and above-normal temperatures are in the Denver weather forecast through the end of the week and into the weekend.

Weather tonight: Mainly clear

Wednesday night will stay mainly clear and cool. Temperatures will fall to the mid-20s, which is nearly 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, mild

Thursday will stay sunny and mild. Temperatures will climb to the mid-50s, which is 10 degrees above average.

Looking ahead: Sunny through the weekend, next chance for snow

More sunshine and mild weather are in the forecast for Friday. Sunshine and mild conditions continue on Saturday.

Sunday, a cold front will move into the area, bringing breezy conditions, increasing clouds and the chance for mountain snow.

Snow showers will push toward the metro and Front Range Sunday night into Monday, giving the chance for light snow showers during the Monday morning drive. This chance for snow will be paired with much colder temperatures. Highs on Monday will only reach the mid-30s.

Sunshine returns Tuesday, but the chill to the air will remain with low temperatures in the teens, then a high in the mid-30s.
