Weather today: Mountain snow, brisk wind
Snow continues in the high country Saturday, with winter weather advisories in effect until 11 p.m. Saturday night. An additional 1-4 inches are possible by the afternoon.
The southern Front Range could see some snow, closer to Colorado Springs.
Denver will see partly cloudy skies with temperatures slowly dropping throughout the day. The wind will also begin to pick up in the afternoon.
Weather tonight: Partly cloudy
Colorado will see more clearing on Saturday night with a few clouds sticking around. Overnight lows are chilly again, as they dip into the mid-teens as the wind slows.
Looking ahead: Chilly Monday, then slow warming
Sunday has partly to mainly sunny skies to round out the weekend, but highs are cool in the mid-30s.
Monday starts off the next workweek with abundant sunshine and chilly highs in the lower 30s. Tuesday begins a warming trend with plenty of sunshine and highs reaching the lower 40s.
Wednesday brings back just above-average highs in the upper 40s with lots of sunshine. Thursday is the warmest day of the week with highs topping out in the lower 50s. Friday is still comfy with mild highs in the upper 40s and a mix of sun and clouds.
