Sunny and mild conditions are in Denver's weather forecast to start the week ahead of the chance for snow showers Tuesday.
DENVER (KDVR) — Sunny and mild conditions are in Denver's weather forecast to start the week ahead of the chance for snow showers on Tuesday.
Weather tonight: Mainly clear
Sunday night will stay mainly clear and seasonally cool. Low temperatures will fall to the mid-20s, which is right in line with normal for this time of year.
Weather tomorrow: Sunny, mild
Sunshine dominates the forecast again on Monday. Temperatures will be just a couple of degrees warmer than Sunday, reaching the mid-50s.
Looking ahead: Mountain snow showers, warmer end to the week
Snow showers will start in the mountains Monday evening and carry into Tuesday. There will be a chance for a few snow showers to make it to lower elevations, like the Denver metro, during the Tuesday morning drive.
Only around 1-3 inches of snow will accumulate for higher country through Tuesday with little to no accumulation in lower elevations like Denver.
Sunshine and a warming trend returns for the second half of the workweek. Wednesday will start off chilly and in the 20s, ahead of a seasonal high of around 50 degrees. Sunshine will aid in bringing temperatures up to the 60s on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
