Denver Broncos hosting polling site at stadium: What to know
The Denver Elections Division teamed up with the Broncos to provide a polling site at the team's stadium this weekend.
DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Broncos are encouraging Coloradans to get out there and vote in U.S. elections on a national and local level.
In an effort to help provide accessibility to voters, the Denver Elections Division has teamed up with the Broncos to create the "Broncos Country Votes" initiative and provide a safe space for eligible Colorado voters to make their decisions.
The Denver Elections Division's Mobile Voting Unit will be deployed to Empower Field at Mile High and located in parking lot J on Friday, Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Mobile Voting Unit is an official Voter Service and Polling Center. The mobile unit offers several services and resources for eligible Colorado voters. Voters can check their registration status and cast their completed ballots. For those who are looking to drop off their completed ballot, there is an onsite drop off and a drive-through option as well.
For those who are a bit nervous about voting, there will be plenty of encouragement and support from Broncos cheerleaders and the team's mascot Miles, who all know a thing or two about creating a positive environment.
