ST. LOUIS - A cold front brings rain and a few storms to the region early Friday morning, but it is fading as it tries to push east.
It is possible the metro doesn't see any rain, and any rain we end up seeing will be light. Any spot showers should wrap up by mid-morning.
We'll have lingering clouds for much of Friday morning, and they will persist into the afternoon south and southeast of St. Louis. Highs will range from the upper 60s (north) to the upper 70s/near 80 F (south). St. Louis will probably hit the mid-70s.
Cooler temperatures return for the weekend with highs each day in the 60s and plenty of sunshine.
A big warm-up is expected into the work week, where afternoon highs will be 15-20 degrees above normal. It'll also get quite windy Tuesday and Wednesday. We are watching shower chances for late in the week.
