Channing Tatum posted about Zoë Kravitz film hours ahead of split news
Channing Tatum posted about his upcoming project with reportedly ex-fiancée Zoë Kravitz just hours before news broke of the couple's split.
Channing Tatum posted about his new movie with Zoë Kravitz just hours before news broke that the couple had called off their engagement and ending their three-year relationship.
The “Magic Mike” star, 44, on Tuesday shared “Alpha Gang” co-star Dave Bautista’s Instagram Story, showcasing the Deadline article announcing the star-studded alien invasion comedy.
The Zellner brothers’ film — which also stars Cate Blanchett, Riley Keough, Steven Yeun and Léa Seydoux — will reunite Tatum and Kravitz on screen. They met while working on her directorial debut, “Blink Twice,” which hit theaters this summer.
Multiple sources on Tuesday told People that Tatum and the “Big Little Lies” star, 35, have broken up. Their engagement became public knowledge last Halloween when Kravitz was seen with a diamond on her ring finger as the couple sported “Rosemary’s Baby” costumes.
It’s unclear what led to Tatum and Kravitz’s reported split. Representatives for the actors did not immediately respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.
Sources were already describing the relationship as a “serious” romance a year in, saying that the couple was “very happy” and bonded over their “passion” for their work.
Speaking to GQ in late 2022, Kravitz said Tatum is “just a wonderful human.
“He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do,” she said. “We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other.”
The marriage would have been the second for both stars. Tatum shares 11-year-old daughter Everly with ex-wife and “Step Up” co-star Jenna Dewan, with whom he settled his contentious divorce last month, six years after they split.
Kravitz and actor Karl Glusman wed in June 2019 and finalized their divorce in the summer of 2021.
