The Motorcycle World Championship arrives this weekend in Australia after passing through Japan. At the Motegi circuit, Francesco Bagnaia won over the Spanish Jorge Martín, who finished second, with Márquez consolidating himself on the podium. The Italian has been cutting the lead over Martín for two weekends and is now only 10 points away in the standings. With four races left, the championship is very tight, even Marc Márquez is fighting for third place from the other Ducati rider, Batianini, who is only two points behind. The Spanish Pedro Acosta, who is fighting for fifth place with the KTM team rider, Binder, had his first victory in the highest category of motorcycling in Japan very close. Acosta got the pole, but crashed at the end of the Sprint race and on Sunday in the race he retired, also due to a fall.
