2 victims found in Aurora shooting; no outstanding suspects
Aurora police responded to the 18000 block of East Kepner Place on Friday evening for a reported shooting and identified two victims in the incident.
DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police responded to the 18000 block of East Kepner Place on Friday evening for a reported shooting and identified two victims in the incident.
According to an Aurora Police Department public information officer, the shooting was reported at about 6:15 p.m. The residential area is near Buckley Space Force Base.
One shooting victim was found on scene and transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second victim self-transported to a local urgent care before he was transported to a hospital.
Police said both were adult men with gunshot wounds and said they appeared to be related.
The investigation has only just begun, but detectives said they did not believe there are any outstanding suspects in the case.
No arrests have been made in the shooting.
