(KRON) -- The Vallejo Fire Department (VFD) reported it received multiple calls at 11:53 p.m. Thanksgiving Day of "heavy flames seen coming" from a multi-story, Victorian-style house at the corner of Ohio and Napa Streets.
VFD said "the Victorian-era, balloon frame-style construction" of the house made it "extremely difficult" for fire crews to access a heavy portion of the three-alarm fire located in the attic. Vallejo Fire said all crews were eventually removed from the building due to unsafe conditions.
Authorities confirmed that the fire was contained to the one residence, and that no injuries were reported. VFD said two adults from a first-floor unit were displaced as a result of the blaze, which remains under investigation.
Officials said the second and third-floor living units of the house were unoccupied at the time of the fire. The Red Cross has been contacted to help those displaced, according to Vallejo police.
