A fan was ejected from Yankee Stadium during Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday night after snatching a foul ball right out of Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts' glove.
Betts had jumped along the wall in right field foul territory to catch Gleyber Torres’ pop fly in the first inning when a fan in the front row, wearing a gray Yankees jersey, reached out, and grabbed Betts' glove with both hands and blatantly yanked the ball away.
The umpire immediately called Torres out for fan interference, and security promptly removed the fan from the game.
This marked the second time in the World Series that Torres was involved in a fan interference call - only this one worked against him.
In Game 1 at Dodger Stadium, with two outs in the ninth inning, a fan caught a fly ball hit by Torres over the left field wall, resulting in a double.
The Dodgers lead the best-of-seven series 3-0. If necessary, Game 5 would be Wednesday night in New York.
