Yankees-Dodgers World Series drawing insane ticket prices for Bombers’ first World Series in 15 years

The Yankees are back in the World Series for the first time in 15 years. The Bombers will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in a clash of the baseball titans with Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Juan Soto, Mookie Betts and others sharing the field in the Fall Classic.

The matchup between the two powerhouses is arguably one of the most anticipated World Series matchups in recent memory. Just check the ticket prices to confirm.

The Yanks will play Games 1 and 2 against the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Friday and Saturday. However, when they come home for Game 3 on Monday, the prices are jarring.

As of Tuesday night, the cheapest ticket is $1,640 — including fees — on StubHub.com. Here’s the catch, you don’t even get a seat. That is just for standing room only. If you want a seat in 400 sections — the nosebleeds — the best you’ll get is $1,682. For anything below the upper deck, be prepared to spend close to $2,000 a ticket.

It seems as though the Yankees’ lack of participation in recent World Series has not only hurt the hearts of their fans, it’s now coming after their wallets. The anticipation for the Yanks’ first appearance in the World Series combined with the matchup with the star-studded Dodgers is a recipe for financial insanity.

Dodger Stadium games are priced out at about the same thing as the cheapest seat for Friday’s Game 1 is priced out at $1,252.
