A woman is dead after two personal watercraft collided on Lake Perris on Wednesday afternoon.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, was a 24-year-old woman from Highland, the Press-Enterprise reports.
The crash at about 2:15 p.m. resulted in the two watercraft being left without their riders, and nearby boaters pulled the two riders from the water.
Despite them performing CPR on the Highland woman, she was declared dead on shore.
The other rider declined medical treatment, authorities told the Press-Enterprise.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
