Police have taken a woman into custody after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in L.A.’s Arlington Heights neighborhood.
According to initial reports, Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the area of Washington Boulevard and 5th Avenue around 3 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a stabbing.
A man was seen in a car with what appeared to be blood on his face; it is not known if the incident occurred inside the vehicle.

He was taken to a hospital where his condition remains unknown as of 6 a.m.
News stringer service KNN captured the woman being taken into custody on the sidewalk near the car the man was observed sitting in. She was not immediately identified.
The LAPD is investigating the motive behind the stabbing. No further details were available.
