(KRON) – An El Granada woman was arrested after stealing a cart full of power tools, holiday lights and decorations, the Colma Police Department announced Monday.
Colma police officers responded to a retail store on Colma Boulevard for a report of a theft at 4:23 p.m. on Dec. 3. Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect was a woman who stole a shopping cart of items and was detained by the store’s loss prevention officers.
The suspect was later identified as 41-year-old El Granada resident Jaclyn McCord.
According to an image provided by the Colma PD, the suspect stole 10 boxes of LED lights, electric screwdrivers and other power tools, T-shirts, socks, inflatable present boxes and the Grinch.
Colma PD said McCord stole approximately $800.87 worth of merchandise.
McCord was arrested for shoplifting and issued a citation for the charges and released on her promise to appear in court, according to police.
