A man died over the weekend in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near downtown St. Louis.
ST. LOUIS – A man died over the weekend in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near downtown St. Louis.
The crash happened just after 11 a.m. Saturday on westbound I-70 at Branch Street, in the city’s Hyde Park neighborhood.
Officers found the 57-year-old driver unresponsive in his vehicle. The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police said the car was traveling on the interstate when for reasons unknown, it veered off the right side of the highway and crossed over Branch before coming to a rest.
