Watervliet PD hosting toy giveaway for families in need
A local police department is lending a helping hand to local families in need still looking for holiday gifts.
WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A local police department is lending a helping hand to local families in need still looking for holiday gifts.
Watervliet police is hosting a toy giveaway from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23 at the police headquarters. The department said they have a variety of gifts available thanks to contributions from Toys for Tots.
Those interested should email the office of the police chief at officeofthechief@watervliet.com and include the number of children as well as their ages. Toys are available first come, first serve while supplies last.
It is open to everyone, but priority will be given to Watervliet residents.
