Watervliet man pleads guilty to Malta assault
A Watervliet man pleaded guilty to second-degree assault in Saratoga County Court on Monday.
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Watervliet man pleaded guilty to second-degree assault in Saratoga County Court on Monday. Police charged Zachary Christie, 22, with assault in September.
Christie admitted to using a deadly weapon during an altercation on Sparrow Drive in Malta on May 31. Police arrested Christie on August 30 with a warrant from Saratoga County Court.
Christie's sentencing is on February 19, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. He faces a sentence of two to seven years in prison, followed by 18 months to three years of probation.
