FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colo. (KDVR) -- A couple captured video of a woman pulling a gun on them in the parking lot of a King Soopers near Federal Heights.
The couple told FOX31 that it happened just a couple of days ago around 7 p.m. and the parking lot was packed. The couple, who wished to remain anonymous, said they were preparing to leave when they got stuck behind a vehicle that wasn't moving.
"So we honked, trying to, like, signal them to keep going and then that’s when this girl got out and she, she started walking up and she was like cursing at us," they said.
The couple then began recording the exchange on their phone, when suddenly the woman pulled out a gun that had a blue laser sight attached to it.
"I looked down on my shirt and I can see the laser on my shirt and I was like we have to go, we have to go, like I was really scared," the passenger in the car said.
They backed out of the parking lot and called law enforcement. The couple said they couldn't remember doing anything other than honking to provoke that incident. But, they said they are going to be more careful before honking in the future.
"There was no like exchanging of words before it or anything," the couple said. "Maybe it makes me feel like I should’ve been more patient. And just waited because maybe that wouldn’t have happened."
