Violent accident shuts down Krome Avenue in SW Miami-Dade
A violent accident appeared to have left at least one person hurt and shut down lanes on Wednesday morning. Emergency crews worked to help the person inside the car off of Krome Avenue at SW 122nd Street. A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter also responded and was landing as first responders worked to extricate the person from the vehicle. Drivers should use SW 137th Avenue as an alternate route.
