SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) -- Video shows that at least one home fell into the Russian River on Tuesday due to mudslides amid heavy rain pounding Northern California.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said the home was knocked into a river by a mudslide at about 12:30 p.m.
The home was near the intersection of Westside Road and Rio Vista Road near the Hacienda Bridge in Forestville. It was unoccupied at the time.
