(BCN) -- American Canyon police arrested a man Wednesday night for allegedly having an unregistered gun, illegal drug possession and driving under the influence.
Police stopped a red Ford Explorer allegedly traveling at approximately 90 mph north on state Highway 29 near South Kelly Road.
The driver, a 48-year-old Vallejo resident, allegedly showed signs of impairment and had a loaded, unregistered Raven .25-caliber firearm. Officers also found what they believed was methamphetamine.
Officers discovered the driver was a convicted felon on probation.
Police arrested the man on suspicion of five felonies related to firearm possession, speeding and drug possession. A passenger was cited for possession of a controlled substance and released at the scene. The driver was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
