In the post on X, the USPS said, "effective Nov. 29, 2024, USPS will temporarily suspend international mail acceptance to Canada" and confirmed that customers should not mail any items to Canada until notice was given the situation was back to normal.
The Postal Service confirmed the service disruption impacts Priority Mail Express International (PMEI), Priority Mail International (PMI), First-Class Mail International (FCMI), First-Class Package International Service (FCPIS), International Priority Airmail (IPA), International Surface Air Lift (ISAL), Commercial ePacket (CeP), and M-Bag items.
