Troopers investigate fatal pedestrian hit and run in Wappinger
A 43-year-old woman was hit by a car Tuesday night, Troopers said. The accident happened on Old Hopewell Road and Route 9 around 8:35 p.m.
WAPPINGER, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A 43-year-old woman was hit by a car Tuesday night, Troopers said. The accident happened on Old Hopewell Road and Route 9 around 8:35 p.m.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, despite efforts by witnesses. State Police are actively investigating the accident.
Anyone with information on the crash are asked to call investigators at 845-677-7300. Troopers said to reference the case number, NY2400938599, when calling.
