(KRON) – The man who allegedly stabbed a 54-year-old woman in an unprovoked attack on a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train on Saturday has been identified.
The suspect was identified as 34-year-old Jovany Portades.
Portades and the victim were in an Antioch-bound train Saturday morning as it approached 24th Street/Mission Station when the incident occurred.
