(KRON) – Burglary tools, drugs and bags of stolen groceries were found in a traffic stop, according to the Benicia Police Department.
Benicia police officer said they pulled over a driver in the 1900 Block of East Second Street for “multiple vehicle code violations” on Sunday night.
Officers said they noticed a meth pipe in the sedan. Police said the driver, later identified as 48-year-old Antioch resident Gabriel Ryan Henry, was in possession of methamphetamine.
A search of the sedan yielded a Norco pill without a prescription, multiple plastic bottles smelling of gasoline, a collection of flexible hoses and bolt cutters. Benicia PD said they also located approximately $500 of stolen groceries from Safeway.
Henry was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail for the following misdemeanor charges:
- Possess controlled substance
- Possess narcotic controlled substance
- Possess unlawful paraphernalia
- Possess controlled substances without a prescription
- Possess/etc burglary tools
- Shoplifting
