StarLadder hosts Honor of Kings Championship 2024 play-ins across three regions
StarLadder hosts the Honor of Kings Championship 2024 Play-ins, with top teams from the Pacific, Americas, and EMEA competing for regional titles and global spots.
StarLadder has started the Honor of Kings (HoK) Championship 2024 play-ins which will run from 3rd September to 14th September at Pixoul Gaming in Abu Dhabi. The Play-ins invite teams from three regions – Pacific, Americas and EMEA, all battling for the regional title. $24000 per region, and a slot at the international Honor of Kings Championship 2024 scheduled to take place in Indonesia later this year.
The tournament comes after the recently ended Honor of Kings Open Series Split 2 in which teams from the three regions were in a bid to get the opportunity to participate in the Play-ins. The Split 2 winners – Fearless Esports Hong Kong, Influence Rage and Major Pride – have moved on to the Play-ins and will battle against partner teams increasing the intensity of the competition as the tournament goes on.
HoK heats up as teams battle for regional supremacy
Quite several well-known esports teams mostly from the Pacific, Americas and EMEA regions have converged in the Championship Play-ins, this time trying to qualify for the Honor of Kings Championship 2024. From the Pacific region, Fearless Esports Hong Kong, SCARZ and Nongshim RedForce are at the forefront of the wave. Known to have achieved good results in previous competitions, these teams are now preparing for a regional championship.
Down in the Americas, Influence Rage is now facing the Isurus and Tribe Gaming in high-performance matches. Each team presents its own strength and tactics, hence the Play-ins are not to be missed for the fans of Honor of Kings. Influence Rage having won Split 2 will try to carry on that form in this next phase while Isurus and Tribe Gaming will want to ensure that’s not the case.
In the EMEA region, Virtus.pro, Major Pride and Team Vitality are all equally strong contenders for first place. The EMEA Play-ins are likely to be extremely fierce as all three teams present themselves with all the necessary tools to win in the last chance to become one of the competitors in the international tournament.
StarLadder builds on its esports success with another major tournament
StarLadder’s hosting of Honor of Kings tournaments has enabled prospects for growth in esports. Last year, the organization was able to organize Honor of Kings Open Series 1, which saw All Gamers Global winning and taking home a $10,000 Prize. Building on that momentum, the current Play-ins event involves even more thrill, as regional champions contend for the prize and also earn the right and pride of representing their region on the international stage.
Fans around the world can see the completion of the Honor of Kings Championship 2024 Play-in that is being streamed on HoK Global Esports and witness which teams will make it to the finals of the championship that will be held in Indonesia later this year.
