[Subscriber only] Frederick Melo at the Pioneer Press attended Monday night’s truth-in-taxation hearing of the St. Paul City Council. Two large lines of homeowners testified over the course of more than two hours against the Mayor Melvin Carter’s proposed property tax levy increase of 7.9%.
