Community members gathered for the annual Veterans Day parade Saturday in St. Louis, honoring those who dedicated their lives to serving the country.
ST. LOUIS - Community members gathered for the annual Veterans Day parade Saturday in St. Louis, honoring those who dedicated their lives to serving the country.
Despite rain on Saturday morning, parade-goers lined the route to celebrate the contributions of veterans in several wars. Following the parade, veterans were honored with a ceremony and wreath-laying event at Soldiers Memorial Museum.
Veterans and community members who attended said Saturday's parade and events were very important.
The official Veteran's Day holiday falls on November 11 each year, this year on Monday.
