ST. LOUIS COUNTY - The American Heart Association is hosting the Metro St. Louis Heart Walk at Westport Plaza on Saturday morning.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and each walker represents a life saved.
Donations go toward critical research into heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular conditions.
The theme this year is, “I walk to save lives.”
The goal is to raise one-million dollars.
There will also be a food drive on-site to support food pantries still helping people recover from this month’s tornado.
