St. Louis County man charged after foot fetish assaults, attack on officer
A St. Louis County man is accused in multiple foot fetish assaults and attacking an officer prior to his arrest on Tuesday.
BRENTWOOD, Mo. - A St. Louis County man is accused in multiple foot fetish assaults and attacking an officer prior to his arrest on Tuesday.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has charged Mario Gullette, 48, with third-degree assault, resisting arrest and two counts of fourth-degree assault amid the investigation.
According to court documents obtained by FOX 2, Gullette is accused of caressing feet of at least two women at Brentwood stores between Oct. 11 and Oct. 20. He reportedly also rubbed and kissed the foot of one victim.
On Tuesday, after the Brentwood Police Department received reports of the assaults, an officer attempted to arrest Gullette in Brentwood. Gullette punched the officer in the face, knocking the officer to the ground and causing various facial injuries, according to court documents.
Other officers later spotted Gullette and took him into custody. Per court documents, Gullette admitted to punching an officer and running away, while he also admitted he likes feet.
Gullette was booked into St. Louis County Jail on a $50,000 bond. He has previously pled guilty to assaults in St. Louis and St. Charles counties, according to Missouri court records.
