South Glens Falls man sentenced to 40 years for 2023 Albany murder
Henderson was convicted in September.
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County District Attorney's Office announced that Jeff Henderson, 21, of South Glens Falls, was sentenced on Friday to 40 years to life in state prison for the murder of Benjamin Rowe. Henderson was convicted in September.
Henderson was found guilty of fatally shooting Rowe on Hamilton Street near Ontario and Partridge Streets on June 25, 2023. He pleaded not guilty to all charges in September of 2023.
Henderson received 25 years to life for one count of second-degree murder, and 15 years for one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, which will run consecutively. He was additionally ordered to serve five years of post-release supervision.
