JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The leader of the Missouri Senate says she's disappointed with who was chosen to serve as the state's transportation director.
Cindy O'Laughlin says the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission needed to think outside the box when choosing MoDOT's next leader.
But the agency's new director says he's determined to have a good working relationship with lawmakers.
